Overview

• Board the Gatimaan Express or Shatabdi Express (depending on availability), both of which offer a quick, comfortable ride to Agra. The train departs around 6:30 AM and reaches Agra in approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

• Upon arrival at Agra Cantt Railway Station, you will be greeted by your guide and driver. You will be transferred to your first destination, the Taj Mahal.

• Begin your sightseeing with the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You’ll explore the magnificent mausoleum, the intricate marble work, and the stunning gardens while your guide shares the rich history and architectural significance of the monument.

Next, head to Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the fort’s impressive courtyards, palaces, and mosques, including:

• Diwan-i-Am (Hall of Public Audience)
• Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience)
• Moti Masjid (White Marble Mosque) Enjoy beautiful views of the Taj Mahal from the fort.

• After a fascinating morning of sightseeing, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Agra. Choose from a variety of Mughlai or Indian dishes, including Agra specialties.

• (Optional) After lunch, visit Mehtab Bagh, a garden located across the Yamuna River with a stunning view of the Taj Mahal. This is an excellent spot for photography, especially for capturing the Taj from a different angle.

• Explore Agra's vibrant markets for souvenirs like traditional handicrafts, marble inlay work, and jewelry. You’ll have some time to shop for keepsakes from your visit.

• You will be transferred to the Agra Cantt Railway Station to board the return train to Delhi.

• Board the Gatimaan Express or Shatabdi Express for your return journey to Delhi.

• Upon arrival at New Delhi Railway Station, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel or designated drop-off point, concluding your Same Day Agra Tour by Train.
